Kickoff Meeting
Since Kyle Whittingham was named the J. Ira & Nicki Harris Family Head Football Coach, we have been anticipating his arrival to our Fall Kickoff Meeting. The date was set and confirmed, July 28th. And today we welcomed him; the anticipation was worth it! Through the uprights! It was truly a pleasure for our members to meet and get to know Coach Whitt on a one on one basis.
We presented a poster to Coach Whitt and Team #147, signed by M-Club members showing their support. Coach Whitt promised to hang it in the locker room.
We also held our annual meeting where outgoing board members are presented their M-Club Pins. Thank you to Dennis Joyce, Mary Lou Sommerfield, and Kay Hannah for their contributions.

Spring Meeting
It was great to have Jon Jansen back again as our guest speaker. He clearly has the inside story and the insights to into Michigan Football to explain to us what he is seeing with the new team and new coaching staff. Our next stop will be the Kickoff meeting for the 2026 fall football season.
We also presented the annual Michigan Man award to Chelsea Michigan native and two-time Special Teams Player of the Year, Joe Taylor. He was accompanied by fiancee, Ella McVey and his mother and grandmother. He spoke to the club and then answered questions from club members about his experience of being a student athlete.
March 9th, 2026
What an incredible way to end the basketball luncheons. First, Tim McCormick spoke to us about both the men's and women's basketball seasons and then he offered his insights into the successes of both programs. He was followed by a member favorite coach, Bonnie Tholl, Women's Softball Head Coach. the softball team is just beginning the B1G season.
